What We Do

OUR MISSION IS TO HELP DEVELOP EMERGING TALENT & CREATE ENGAGING PROJECTS

48 Hour Stage - Theater

Every month a group of emerging Hollywood Writers, Actors and Directors are given 48 Hours to write, cast, rehearse and produce 6-8 sketches for a 60 minute performance in front of a live audience!

MRATT Filmmaking

Our signature, free filmmaking workshop for teens focuses on training and introducing youth (13 - 18) to media communication opportunities in writing, producing, directing, and editing.

YORDA

The DSF proudly produces several popular community events to raise awareness and funding for DSF programs and to recognize the achievements of its participants, volunteers and donors. One event in particular is the Young Oscar Reel Dream Awards (YORDA).

On Set Training

DSF offers youth participants (13 - 18) hands-on training in various set assistance roles.

Talent Mentors

Our Volunteer Mentors are comprised of diverse working professionals in the Entertainment Industry.

Digital Marketing

Participants receive development in the areas of writing, directing, producing and digital marketing.
